Block Insert
A block insert is a feature that allows you to insert pre-defined geometric shapes, such as rectangles, squares, or circles, directly into your drawing. These shapes are stored in a separate library and can be easily inserted into multiple drawings.
Benefits of block insert:
Saves time and effort: Instead of manually drawing each shape from scratch, you can insert them quickly and easily.
Ensures consistency: Blocks ensure that shapes are the same size and shape, regardless of zoom level.
Provides flexibility: You can modify and edit block shapes to create unique designs.
How to use block insert:
Select the shape you want to insert.
Click on the "Insert" tab in the toolbar.
Select the type of shape you want to insert.
Click on the shape to insert it into your drawing.
You can adjust the position and size of the shape by selecting it and using the move and scale tools.
Example:
Imagine you have a library of pre-defined blocks that include a rectangle, a square, and a circle. You can insert these shapes into your drawing by selecting the "Rectangle," "Square," and "Circle" buttons from the "Insert" tab. You can then position and resize these shapes as needed
