What is Average?
Average is the sum of all the values divided by the total number of values in a set. In other words, it is the "average value" or the "central tendency" of a group of data.
Examples:
The average age of students in a class is 16.
The average score on a test is 75.
The average income of a family in a certain region is $50,000.
What is Age-based?
Age-based problems involve comparing two or more values based on their ages rather than specific numerical values.
Examples:
A 25-year-old woman is pregnant.
A 30-year-old man is employed as a software engineer.
An 18-year-old student is applying for a scholarship.
Ratio and Proportion
Ratio is a measure of how one value is related to another. It can be expressed as a ratio or a proportion.
Examples:
Ratio of boys to girls in a class is 3:2.
Ratio of distance traveled to time taken is 100:1 hour.
Proportion is expressed as a percentage and is calculated by dividing two ratios with the same denominators.
Partnership
Partnership is a situation in which two or more parts are related in a specific ratio or proportion. Solving a problem involving partnership involves finding the missing part based on the known ratios or proportions
