Triangles and their classification
A triangle is a polygon with 3 sides and 3 angles. There are many different ways to classify triangles based on their measurements.
In an acute triangle, all three angles measure less than 90 degrees.
In a right triangle, one of the angles measures 90 degrees.
In an obtuse triangle, one of the angles measures greater than 90 degrees.
A triangle with three angles measuring less than 60 degrees is called an acute triangle.
A triangle with three angles measuring more than 60 degrees is called a right triangle.
A triangle with three angles measuring exactly 60 degrees is called an obtuse triangle.
For example, a triangle with sides of length 3, 4, and 5 is an acute triangle.
A triangle with sides of length 5, 12, and 13 is a right triangle.
A triangle with sides of length 7, 8, and 9 is an obtuse triangle.
In addition to these classifications, triangles can also be classified by their properties, such as their area, perimeter, and symmetry
