Addition:

Adding two matrices is like adding the corresponding elements of the matrices.

For example, if:

$A = \begin{bmatrix}1 & 2 & 3\\\4 & 5 & 6\\\7 & 8 & 9\end{bmatrix}$

and

$B = \begin{bmatrix}10 & 11 & 12\\\13 & 14 & 15\\\16 & 17 & 18\end{bmatrix}$

then the addition is:

$A + B = \begin{bmatrix}11 & 13 & 15\\\15 & 17 & 19\\\17 & 19 & 21\end{bmatrix}$

Subtraction:

Subtracting two matrices involves subtracting the corresponding elements of the matrices.

For example, if:
