Contrapositive:
The contrapositive of a statement is a statement that is true when the original statement is false, and vice versa. For example, if the statement "if x is even, then x+2 is even," is true, then the contrapositive would be "if x is odd, then x+2 is odd."
Converse:
The converse of a statement is a statement that is true when the original statement is false, and vice versa. For example, if the statement "if x is divisible by 3, then x is divisible by 9" is false, then the converse would be "if x is divisible by 9, then x is divisible by 3."
Contrapositives and converses are related to the truth values of statements. When you negate a statement, you change the truth value from true to false, and vice versa
